John Hankins, MSS, LSW, CFT-I is a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Financial Therapist-Level I who is dedicated to helping individuals and small business owners who are facing challenges in late middle age (age 45-64) and beyond (65+). Although John began his career as a social worker, he spent 35 years in the business world before coming full circle back to his true passion. His lived experience and training in financial therapy and social work give him a unique perspective on complex issues. Some of these include planning for and managing retirement; supporting adult children and aging parents; and managing investments and associated anxiety, just to name a few. John recognizes that these issues have significant financial, behavioral, and emotional components, and he is eager to work with clients to help them reduce stress and increase happiness during this important time in their lives.
