Philanthrophy

One of the greatest gifts you can ever give back to someone is to encourage, guide and mentor those individuals who need help and want to receive. We were introduced to Hide in Plain Sight from a dear friend of mine and we fell in love with their mission and who they are representing.

OUR MISSION

Breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty through education.

 Our Goal

  • Raising awareness about the at-risk students in the State of Colorado.

  • Raising money to help support students in their time of need so they have a chance for success.

Our plan

Partnering with the business community, local schools, organizations, churches and residences in the State of Colorado to ensure that we help our disadvantaged youth.

College/Work Scholarships

Scholarship applications are accepted throughout the year for homeless students who wish to pursue a post-secondary education through a college, vocational school, certificate or apprenticeship program.  These scholarships are intended to remove the barriers a homeless student faces like tuition assistance, books, fees, transportation, food and housing. Final approval for scholarship recipients is determined by the Board of Directors.

K-12 Scholarships

K-12 Scholarships are awarded on an individual basis by Hide In Plain Sight through the school for students to attend an educational field trip or participate in extracurricular activities to promote and enrich the student's education. Final approval for scholarship recipients is determined by the Board of Directors.

Emergency Support

Emergency Financial Assistance is provided by Hide In Plain Sight through the school or school district for homeless students and their families to help remove the barriers to homelessness. Support includes rent/utility assistance, car registration, insurance and other items associated with sustaining the homeless student and their family. Final approval for scholarship recipients is determined by the Board of Directors.
